Privacy Policy

Introwiz (“Introwiz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a product-tour and user-onboarding platform at https://introwiz.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as an irreversible hash, never in plain text).

Workspace and team information. Workspace name, team member email addresses and roles, and any branding assets (logos, favicons) you upload.

Google account information (optional). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google, as permitted by the scopes you approve during sign-in. We only request the minimum scopes needed for authentication — we do not request access to your Google Calendar, Drive, or other Google Workspace data.

Product content you create. URLs of the websites you configure tours for, and the tutorial content you author — including data captured by our Recorder feature, which records interactions (clicks, page navigation, and form field values) on pages you choose to record.

If you record a page that contains sensitive information (for example, a login or payment form), that information may be captured as part of your tutorial content. Introwiz does not currently mask sensitive fields automatically — you are responsible for avoiding recording flows that expose sensitive or personal data you do not intend to store.

Billing information. We use Polar.sh as our payment processor and merchant of record. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Polar handles this directly. We store only your subscription status, plan, trial state, and a reference ID linking your account to your Polar customer record.

Usage data. Standard technical data (IP address, browser type, access timestamps) collected automatically when you use the Service, for security and diagnostic purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your account and secure it against unauthorized access
  • Process billing and manage subscriptions (via Polar.sh)
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, or the Service
  • Improve and troubleshoot the Service

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Polar.sh, to process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Google, if you use Google sign-in, per Google’s own terms
  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, email delivery), under contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Law enforcement or regulators, if legally required

Data is processed and stored in US Region.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@introwiz.com.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@introwiz.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including password hashing and encrypted connections) to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised “Last updated” date.
